Heron Foods Entire Internal Fit Out of Head Office
Our first project for Heron Foods comprised the entire internal fit out of their new, purpose built two-storey head office in Melton.
This major project involved many of our areas of expertise, including:
Internal partitioning, wall linings and fire protection
Plastering
Raised access floors
Suspended ceilings
Floor finishes
Demountable partitioning
Internal joinery, doors and ironmongery
Kitchens and canteens
Office and canteen furniture
Toilet cubicles
We also installed the changing rooms, with lockers, benches and heated drying room.
Ten years later we transformed Heron’s staff canteen area and washrooms into a modern, vibrant amenity space, where staff can now relax and enjoy their precious downtime. Our expertise allowed us to combine the key factors of style, functionality and durability.
During this project, we worked alongside a commercial interior designer to help with the conceptual design and layouts. The collaborative result was a hit with both the Heron management and staff.
Talk Straight Telecoms Conversion of existing Industrial Units into a Brand-New Head Office
We converted and fitted out three empty existing two storey industrial units to create Talk Straight Telecom’s chic, modern new head office in Ilkley.
The central feature is the staff picnic area, which includes a terraced grassy hillside with silver birch forest backdrop to create a calming rural atmosphere.
Flexible meeting spaces are key to the efficiency of modern office buildings; Talk Straight’s main boardroom is complemented by smaller meeting rooms, quiet pods and a glass ‘inspirational ideas’ room.
Teleware Telecoms Re-configuration and Refurbishment
This project comprised the re-configuration and refurbishment of the main Reception Area, Boardroom and Innovation Suite, along with a new LED lighting scheme throughout.
Before being engaged to complete this project, we completed all design work, a full building survey, the creation of detailed layout drawings and fully costed proposals – all of which was free of charge as part of the initial conceptual process.
On completion, the striking entrance is enhanced with colour-changing runway lights, which lead visitors towards the understated reception desk. The desk features a backdrop of layered and laser-cut stainless-steel signage.
The main meeting space comprises a 5m boardroom table with chrome and leather seating to complete the modern executive look.
The main business of Teleware is telecom connectivity, software and security, and the Innovation and Client presentation area provides an inspirational space to nurture ideas and impress existing and prospective clients.
Hunters Estate Agents Refurbishment of Head Office
Hunters Estate Agents in York tasked us with the complete refurbishment of their head office. It involved completely stripping bare the existing internal landscape and creating an entirely new space, with stylish design details throughout.
Before commencing work, we were presented with a design scheme which was imagined and developed by the client’s own interior designer. We then worked collaboratively alongside her to bring the project to fruition.
The project tasked us with mapping and then dismantling all of the existing bespoke glass screens, which were set aside before being re-integrated into the new scheme.
Hunters now have a corporate headquarters that defines their modern and professional image.
Fit20 Developing a Space for a New Fitness Concept
We were privileged to be involved in the development of the first fit20 suite. fit20 is an innovative fitness programme aimed at busy professionals.
We created a space to complement the hi-tech fitness machines and reflect the modern and ground-breaking concept of fit20.
Power Health Products Fit Out of Newly-built Production Areas
Our work for Power Health Products in Pocklington comprised the internal construction of newly-built production areas.
In the process of a major expansion, Power Health Products required more space for their new machinery. The new building houses all production machines – both new and old - for the manufacture of natural health supplements and cosmetics.
When designing this project, we specified hygienic panelling with thermoformed corners and fully welded joints, hermetically-sealed vinyl flooring and washable suspended ceilings. This created an environment suitable for clean room, laboratory and food production areas.
Starting with an empty shell, we installed partitions, wall linings, hygienic cladding, vinyl flooring, laminate-faced door sets and suspended ceilings. All are seam-welded and sealed to provide a completely clean environment that is fully bacterial and chemical resistant.
